More Updates On the 'Spidey' Reboot!

I'm sorry for the lack of updates. I have been so busy with my movie project. But since that's not Spidey related, I'll move on to some of the articles I read recently.

So I read that Brian Michael Bendis had a talk with Sony Pictures for the "Spider-Man" reboot. Here's what he had to say on his Twitter, "Well, Bendis added fuel to the speculation this afternoon when he posted on Twitter, "Just spent a very interesting morning at Sony with the entire spidey movie team!! Very very cool stuff!!" This could be a very good thing, but also a very bad thing too. If the reboot is going to be exactly like the "Ultimate Spider-Man" comics, then expect to see a Hulk-sized Green Goblin. I don't mind the 'Ulitmate' series, but I am not a big fan on some of their changes they made to the characters and storylines. Although some of it, like the plot involving Peter in school. That story can work, but with everything else like the Green Goblin and Venom from that series shouldn't be added in unless they will make them exactly like the original source. That's all I'm worried about for this film. (Source)

Another article I read is James Cameron mentoring the new "Spider-Man" director, Marc Webb, on the 3-D effects. I think this could be a good idea, but it also asks the question if he should do this or the new "Terminator" movies. I really like "Terminator" and "Spider-Man", so I don't know how he'll work that out. (Source) Here's a video of him talking about it.

And yes the movie will be in 3-D. Check it out here, and it will be released in theaters on July 3rd, 2012. This is going to be awesome!!

Here's an interesting one: Logan Lerman (From Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief) has been rumored to be playing as Spider-Man for this movie. Although it's been confirmed from that he had some talks with the studio, it was later proven that he was actually not having talks with them at all for the movie (Source confirmed from the studio). I don't know if he would make a good Spidey, but I guess I should see that "Percy Jackson" movie, huh? (Source)

I think that's about it. If there's anything else that I missed, I'll make sure to post it. But for now that is all. Thanks for reading!

Sincerely,
